FINAL NOTE FROM THE EDITORS

We hope you enjoyed our eclectic collection of works and that it has brought you a sense of comfort and joy as the world opens back up. Thanks for all the great feedback, we've been inspired to continue this project and we're excited to open submissions for our third issue. Distanziner has always welcomed BIPOC voices, and we emphasize our commitment to providing opportunities for racialized people. We especially welcome contributions from Black and Indigenous writers and artists.

For this upcoming issue, we want you to share your imagined futures. This could be what you look forward to doing most, or what you imagine society to be like in the upcoming months, years, decades, and centuries. We will be accepting submissions for the third issue of Social Distanziner until Sunday August 16 at 11.59 PM.

Don’t forget, the Distanziner Postcard Program is ongoing - send us your receipt for a donation over $5 to any of these impactful causes in this challenging time: Daily Bread Food Bank, Doctors without Borders, Street Health, and Stella’s Place.

To get a Social Distanziner postcard, fill out this form linked here.

Please keep safe even as social distancing restrictions lessen. Enjoy the summer, but continue to remain prudent. We will all thank you for it.

Socially distant,
Angela and Virginia
